Prayer Requests, Praises, Announcements Sep 28 2025

Jared - praise - Lindsey’s treatments are working. Shoptaws are traveling. Lindsey isn’t feeling well and Jared is traveling the next few days. Lindsey’s dad did not end up having surgery and will be doing radiation.

Abby - a teacher’s daughter, Cara, is having brain surgery on Monday in AZ. Abby’s brother in law’s brother has been on heavy antibiotics for the last year. He’s traveling to Cincinnati for a very risky heart surgery 10/24. Cito and Abby and family are traveling to Seattle for nephew’s wedding

Christina - dad is still recovering. They are going to start weaning him off medication but also changing his medication. His heart rate isn’t rising like it should.

Will - praise - see you at the pole was very successful this year. Great to see what God is doing among students. Prayers this continues.

Bailey - still fostering the boys. Prayers for the Lord to provide the right home locally.

Cito - one of his widows, Ms. Pat, has cancer and has just finished chemo. Prayers for healing and next steps.  Mom’s sister, Dot, her health has been declining and her lung cancer has returned.

Angela - Liam starts school at First Academy this Thursday

Travis and son Ryder were baptized today!

Shane - this weekend is the Vertical camp out.

Brian - Kelsey’s dad’s health update - have not gotten many answers but have gotten some good referrals. His decline in health has also caused him to stop going to church regularly

LeAnn - Reed getting baptized during 9:00 service and Walker’s baby dedication at 10:30 service on 10/12

Travis - Brooke’s brother is having issues with his lungs and going to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester looking for answers

Hall of Fame pitcher Lee Smith didn’t play baseball until he was a junior in high school, only tried out to win a $10 bet, and only started pitching after his team’s star pitcher was killed in a hunting accident. His first start was a no hitter.
